We birded the trail on the west side of the park along the west side of South Pleasant Valley Road from the dam to across the Oracle building. It was cloudy and windy but we managed to identify these birds: great-tailed grackle, white-winged dove, northern cardinal, Carolina wren, Carolina chickadee, rock pigeon, yellow-rumped warbler, black-crested titmouse, pied-billed grebe, American coot, and downy woodpecker.
