Birding at Redden State Forest – Featuring an American Robin (3/5/23)

We went to Redden State Forest to hopefully find the red crossbill that was reported there recently but we didn’t see it. In fact, there weren’t many birds here at all. Altogether, we identified only nine species: great blue heron, Canada goose, American robin, dark-eyed junco, American crow, pine warbler, turkey vulture, Carolina chickadee, and blue-gray gnatcatcher.
