It was a mostly cloudy day at Prime Hook NWR. The light wasn’t very good or taking photos but I was able to take a few pictures at least. We birded the Visitor’s Center, Dike Trail, and Boardwalk Trail and identified 30 species. The best close-up picture was of a swamp sparrow along the Boardwalk Trail. We also saw American robins, eastern bluebirds, belted kingfishers, a northern harrier, and two adult bald eagles (from the boardwalk).
