Birding at Orlando Wetlands: Featuring a Roseate Spoonbill (1/26/25)

We mainly walked along the following trails: Wetlands Blvd, Night Heron Lane, Bobcat Trail, Cypress Boardwalk, and Osprey Blvd. The highlight of the was was seeing about 20 roseate spoonbills from the boardwalk. Other birds seen included wood stork, limpkin, American anhinga, sandhill crane, blue-winged teal, great blue heron, red-shouldered hawk, belted kingfisher, tricolored heron, palm warbler, common gallinule, purple gallinule, white ibis, glossy ibis, little blue heron, snowy egret, tree swallow, pied-billed grebe, and belted kingfisher.
