Birding at Marsh Creek State Park: Featuring an Eastern Bluebird (10/22/22)

We birded the south side of the lake from the East Launch parking lot eastward to the tree corner where the private properties start. The birds were very active this morning along this route. Birds we identified included yellow-rumped warbler, great blue heron, white-crowned sparrow (imms.). Carolina wren, Canada goose, Savannah sparrow, northern cardinal, palm warbler, eastern bluebird, belted kingfisher, ruby-crowned kinglet, tree swallow (several over the lake), red-breasted nuthatch, swamp sparrow, osprey, American goldfinch, red-bellied woodpecker, hairy woodpecker, and downy woodpecker.
