We walked along the west side of Chambers Lake from the boat ramp parking lot, along the side of the road, and to the northwest part of the lake using the grassy trail by the woods. The weather was better than the birding. Several flocks of Canada geese flew over the lake. Most settled in the northwest area of the lake away from the numerous fisherman. Other birds identified included common yellowthroat, northern mockingbird, one female wood duck, mourning dove, black vulture, northern cardinal, eastern phoebe, tree swallow, mallard, and barn swallow.
