We birded today with other members of the Sussex Bird Club. We started from the parking lot, walked to the beach, then went back to the parking lot. We hoped to see short-eared owls but there weren’t any. Some of the birds we saw were dunlin, red-winged blackbird, surf scoter, ring-billed gull, sanderling, snow goose, American black duck, American bittern, red-throated loon, bald eagle, northern harrier, and Savannah sparrow,
