Today’s trip was a loop around Burton Island. We saw at least two and as many as four different adult bald eagles. Other birds identified included great egrets, red-breasted nuthatches, ospreys, yellow-rumped warblers, a merlin, and a northern harrier. As a sign of the upcoming winter, dark-eyed juncos and white-throated sparrows were seen.
