Our third birding spot of the day brought us to Cherry and Webb Beach. We walked from the parking lot to the beach, then turned west and walked to where the beach rounds a corner. Part of the beach away from the shore was blocked off due to nesting birds. We saw two or three piping plovers walking along the beach, sometimes outside the roped area. We also saw a large family of common eiders in the water. Other birds identified included osprey, black scoter, song sparrow, prairie warbler, double-crested cormorant, and willet.
