First, we went south around the lake to the marina and south boar ramp areas. Next, we went around the lake back to the north to the north boat ramp and am areas. Some of the birds we identified were yellow-headed blackbird, common merganser, great blue heron, Say’s phoebe, western wood-pewee, black-billed magpie, Savanna sparrow, Brewer’s sparrow, bald eagle, American white ibis, mallard, belted kingfisher, white-breasted nuthatch, American kestrel, western meadowlark, double-crested cormorant, and black-capped chickadee.
