This was a windy morning in the park. I walked to the bay beach below The Point parking lot facing Lewes and followed that with a walk down the Salt Marsh Trail. There were surf scoters in the bay and Caspian terns flying overhead. The Salt Marsh Trail yielded red-breasted nuthatches, chipping sparrows, and red-bellied woodpeckers, among others. I didn’t get any real good bird pictures today but I did get a nice picture of a monarch butterfly.
