Birding at Cape Henlopen State Park: Featuring a Caspian Tern (10/9/20)

This was Part 1 of our two birding trips today. We walked the two-mile loop around “The Point” at Cape Henlopen State Park. Three type of terns were spotted on our walk—Caspian, royal, and Forster’s. Many double-crested cormorants were seen, We also saw great blue heron, great black-backed and laughing gulls, and ospreys. The walk around The Point took one hour and 35 minutes.
