Birding at Cape Henlopen State Park – Featuring a Carolina Chickadee (2/15/23)

After our visit to Roosevelt Inlet, we went to Cape Henlopen State Park. First, we went to The Point area down from the parking lot. The tide was high and we were only able to identify great black-backed gull and double-crested cormorant. Our next stop was along the Seaside Nature Trail. Birds we identified there included Carolina chickadee, house finch, Carolina wren, surf scoter, brown-headed nuthatch, and northern mockingbird.
