Birding at Assateague Island National Seashore: Featuring a Bald Eagle (10/19/20)

We birded in these areas: Life of the Marsh Trail, Bayside Point, Life of the Forest Trail, Life of the Dunes Trail, and South Beach. There wasn’t much to see on Life of the Dunes Trail except for a bald eagle perched on a dead tree. It stayed there for a while and I got several pictures of it. Royal and least terns were seen from Life of the Marsh Trail as well as yellow-rumped warblers and a flock of six immature white ibises. Some white ibises were also spotted in the open area from the Life of the Forest Trail.
