After leaving Delaware Seashore State Park, we stopped at Silver Lake to primarily look at the wintering canvasbacks. They were all grouped together, not too far from the small parking spot. They appeared to number from 200-300 in this group. Most of them were sleeping. We saw other birds there including a belted kingfisher, great blue heron, ring-billed gull, hooded merganser, American black duck, mallard, and Canada goose.
