We took several trails throughout the Nature Center. Most of these trails were wooded. A good place where we saw a variety of birds was at the Bird Blind. Some of the birds we identified were white-breasted nuthatch, downy woodpecker, northern cardinal, red-bellied woodpecker, chestnut-sided warbler, least flycatcher, warbling vireo, brown-headed cowbird, ruby-throated hummingbird, blue jay, American goldfinch, turkey vulture, and gray catbird.
