We started birding the beach below The Point parking lot. Birds seen here included least tern, osprey, American oystercatcher, semipalmated sandpiper, laughing gull, brown pelican (2), ruddy turnstone, laughing gull, and ring-billed gull. On the way out, we stopped briefly at the Seaside Nature Center and saw purple martin, turkey vulture, mourning dove, and Cooper’s hawk.
