We started by walking through the park from the street entrance and continued to the beach until we reached the high-rise buildings. Birds we saw included blue-winged teal, royal tern, least tern, sandwich tern, ruddy turnstone, ring-billed gull, American oystercatcher, brown pelican, black-bellied plover, western sandpiper, black-bellied plover, short-billed dowitcher, anhinga, palm warbler, Forster’s tern, and common gallinule.
