We saw nine canvasbacks sleeping in the corner of Silver Lake by the bridge. Two bald eagles were seen flying. Several hooded mergansers were seen and there was a large group of Canada geese. Other birds seen included double-crested cormorant, pied-billed grebe, ring-billed gull, American black duck, and great blue heron.
