We birded in three main areas of the park. Birds in the parking lot area we identified included Carolina wren, Carolina chickadee, and fish and American crows. Along the Seahawk Trail, we identified common yellowthroat, pine warbler, Carolina chickadee, eastern bluebird, chipping sparrow, and downy and red-bellied woodpeckers. There wasn’t much to see along the bay shoreline except Canada goose, laughing gull, and double-crested cormorant.
